OHRV Club - August 30th, 2023 @ Brian's House
OVERVIEW
Our 2023/24 Club Kickoff was a success. Great bunch of guys, many of whom had not met before came together over a beer for an introduction to the Club & discussion of what our plan could be for 2023. There was much discussion about the topics below with a lot of great ideas on new items and/or fresh thoughts on the extisting items.
CLUB BACKGROUND
- Dads connecting in the neighborhood / community
- We all have kids in classses together at OH/RV
- Many similar experiences with coming to the area from Bay Area & other places
- Looking for ways to connect with community of dads out there
- Want the best for our kids & looking for ways to be engaged
CLUB MISSION / INTENTION
- Connect with Dads / Kids / Schools
- We're on this journey together seeing kids through GBHS... we should know eachother
- Let's have fun helping & social... and raise some money through the process

NEXT STEPS
- Brian to meet with OH/RV Principals to discuss Activities we can schedule & plan around:
- Recess Help Days/Schedule
- Maintenance list priority items
- Potential for Gym use for basketball tourney/fundraiser?
- Matt Dahlstrom to lead Septemeber HH Meeting @ GBBC
