The OHRV Club was started in the Spring of 2023 with ~20 Dads that wanted to engage with the school, the kids, & other Dads in the community. Now, only a few months later at the beginning of the 2023/24 School Year we've grown to almost 57 parents and counting!
We had a big push in Septemeber to get the word out about the Club and raise some money (with each $50 membership fee) for projects we want to engage in this year. One our members, Drew Lewis, offered to help raise the stakes by pledging to have his law firm, Drew Lewis Law, match up to $5000 in donations for the month of September and before the month was over, we had another offer from Matt Dalstrom's company, Blueprint Managment Consulting, to addtionally match another $500 in donations as well.
We're excited to report that we were able to leverage those matching funds and raise $8350 in one month, with our school year-to-date total exceeding $10,000.
